Out Of Network Providers
We are “out of network” provider for all other behavioral health plans. Always call your insurance provider to determine coverage for out-of-network providers.
Clients who choose to use their insurance for therapy may submit receipts to their insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. We provide a Superbill containing all necessary information for reimbursement. Clients are responsible for paying the full fee at each session.
We do not provide insurance coverage for fees such as missed appointments or late cancellations, costs of assessment instruments, reports or other correspondence, time spent outside the office, telephone or email consultations. Clients should check their benefits to determine their insurance coverage.

No Surprises Act
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your mental health care will cost.
Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, healthcare providers and facilities are mandated to inform individuals not enrolled in a plan, Federal healthcare program, or not seeking to file a claim with their coverage, both orally and in writing. This notification concerns their right to request a "Good Faith Estimate" of expected charges for healthcare items and services.
In accordance with this law, healthcare providers must provide patients without insurance or those not utilizing insurance with an estimate of expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You are entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. You may request a Good Faith Estimate from your healthcare provider or any other chosen provider before scheduling a service. If you receive a bill exceeding your Good Faith Estimate by at least $400, you have the right to dispute it. Ensure to retain a copy or capture an image of your Good Faith Estimate. For inquiries or further information regarding your right to a Good Faith Estimate, please visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 368-1019.
Cancellation Policy
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy. Please notify your therapist in advance of any planned events, emergencies, or changes in your schedule. In the event of an emergency or a planned vacation/school event, where rescheduling is not feasible, we will waive the fee if you provide at least 48 hours' notice.
You also have the option to "make up" for canceled appointments within the week before, during, or after the date of your absence, provided schedules align. While we will make every effort to find a suitable time, please note that we cannot guarantee availability.
Free Cancellation:
You are allotted one "free" cancellation per year for each session attended per week for missed appointments. For instance, if you attend therapy once per week, you are granted one "free" cancellation for the year. This will be used if 48-hours' notice is not provided, or 24-hour' notice is not rescheduled.
Rescheduling:
To reschedule a session, a 24-hour notice is required; otherwise, you will be responsible for the session fee, and rescheduling may not be possible.
Overall, this policy aims to strike a balance between flexibility and accountability, promoting a sense of commitment that contributes to the effectiveness of our therapeutic work together. Your understanding and cooperation are greatly appreciated.
