The one thing you have that nobody else has is you. Your voice, your mind, your story, your vision. So write and draw and build and play and dance and live as only you can. - Neil Gaiman

Our Services

At our practice, we offer a warm and compassionate space for children, teenagers, adults, and families to receive therapy services that are tailored to their unique needs. We believe in taking a psychodynamic approach to therapy, which allows us to address the underlying issues that are causing distress and help clients achieve lasting change.

All of our Therapists are trained and experienced in providing traditional therapeutic approaches in addition to the holistic, non-traditional services we offer.

We understand that everyone's schedule and preferences are different, which is why we offer therapy sessions in person, over the phone, or via tele-session on a secure HIPAA-compliant platform like Zoom. Our sessions are typically 50-120 minutes long, depending on what works best for our clients.

We also offer in-home or in-nature sessions, attend school meetings such as IEP's and 504 plans, and coordinate care with other providers. We believe in taking a holistic approach to therapy and working collaboratively with our clients and their support systems to ensure that they receive the care and resources they need to thrive.

If you're ready to begin your journey towards healing, we invite you to reach out and schedule an appointment with us today. We look forward to working with you!

Adult Art Therapy

Whether you are experiencing a difficult life transition, managing chronic stress, or simply seeking a way to connect with your inner self, our art therapy services for adults can provide a space for self-reflection and healing. Our approach is rooted in mindfulness, self-compassion, and a trauma-informed framework.

Highly Sensitive People

If you identify as a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), we recognize that traditional talk therapy may not always be the most effective approach for you. Our art therapy services for HSPs prioritize sensory awareness and provide a gentle and supportive environment for exploration and healing.

Children and Teens

Art therapy can be particularly beneficial for children and teens who may have difficulty expressing their emotions verbally. Our child and teen-centered approach encourages self-expression, creativity, and playfulness, while also fostering emotional regulation and self-awareness.

Art Therapy

Do you feel a yearning to express yourself more fully and deeply than words alone can convey? Do you sense a need to connect with your inner world, your intuition, your higher self, or your sense of purpose? Do you value creativity and beauty as essential aspects of your life? If so, you may find that art therapy can be a powerful and enriching way to enhance your well-being, self-awareness, and personal growth.

ADHD and Neurodiversity

If you're neurodiverse or identify as ADHD, we take a comprehensive approach that goes beyond just attention deficits. Our approach is centered around building on your strengths and promoting overall wellbeing. Our innovative treatments, such as art therapy, use creative expression to help you explore your emotions and manage stress. We also offer EMDR as a complementary therapy to address related symptoms like anxiety or trauma.

Nature-based Therapy

We recognize the powerful healing properties of nature and animals, and offer nature and animal-assisted therapy sessions. Our sessions take place outdoors or with the presence of animals, and we incorporate nature and animal-inspired art-making to help connect with the natural world and promote mindfulness.

Brainspotting

Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or blocked in your life? Brainspotting may be the answer you've been looking for. Brainspotting is a cutting-edge therapy approach designed to help you access and process deep emotional experiences that may be holding you back. By identifying specific "brainspots" in your visual field that are linked to these emotions, Brainspotting can help you tap into your body's innate capacity for healing and transformation. There is no need for verbal processing with this approach.

Relational Therapy

Our mission is to create an inclusive and accepting environment where individuals and their loved ones can explore their unique relationships and challenges. We embrace all forms of relationships, from family members to non-monogamous partners, and welcome the diversity of LGBTQIA+ community, caregivers, and parents. Our goal is to support you in developing stronger, more meaningful connections with your loved ones by helping you overcome obstacles and achieve emotional closeness and fulfillment.

Chronic Illness

Living with a chronic illness or experiencing medical trauma can be incredibly tough, and it's normal to feel overwhelmed. That's why we offer therapy services that prioritize your emotional well-being and provide a safe space to process your feelings. We understand that everyone's journey is unique, and our compassionate therapists are here to support you as you navigate the ups and downs of chronic illness, heal from medial trauma and to help you improve your overall quality of life.

Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)

We truly care about your well-being and understand the impact that trauma can have on your life. In our trauma therapy sessions we use evidence-based approaches such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Brainspotting and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to provide you with the support you need to heal and thrive. Our trauma-informed therapy prioritizes safety and creates a warm and welcoming space for you to feel empowered and regain control of your life.

Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

We understand that life can be tough sometimes, and it's okay to need a little extra support. That's why we offer Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as one of our services. DBT is a type of talk therapy that can help people who struggle with intense emotions, unstable relationships, and self-destructive behaviors. This approach teaches practical skills to manage difficult emotions and improve relationships with others. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, or other challenges, DBT can be an effective tool to help you cope and thrive.

Somatic Breathwork

In our Somatic Breathwork sessions, we'll work together to focus on your breathing patterns, body sensations, and emotions. Through guided exercises and techniques, you'll learn how to connect with your body and release any physical or emotional tension that's been stored there, leading to greater self-awareness and a sense of relaxation and well-being. With regular practice, somatic breathwork can help individuals connect more deeply with their physical and emotional selves, improving overall health and vitality.

Thank you for considering our holistic approaches to healing and wellness

We believe that art therapy, nature-based therapy, and evidence-based trauma therapy can be powerful tools for healing and personal growth, and we are committed to supporting our clients in their journey towards emotional well-being.
